Physical and chemical properties: white (cubic) crystals, easy to deliquescence, soluble in hydrofluoric acid and ammonia, slightly soluble in alcohol, melting point 858 ℃ sealed storage.

Functions and uses: used for glass engraving, food preservation, and electroplating. It can be used as welding flux, insecticide, fluorinating agent for organic compounds, catalyst, absorbent, etc. It is also the raw material for the production of potassium hydrogen fluoride. At present, it is widely used as an intermediate in medicine, pesticide and other industries, and its excellent performance is manifested in high activity, high yield, low dosage and low by-product in fluorination reaction. Secondly, there is no need to use expensive phase transfer catalysts during the fluorination reaction.
